What happens if a guest damages or changes the code to the lock box?

If a guest — or anyone else — damages the lock box, changes the code without permission, or forces too many keys or fobs inside, the cost to repair or replace the lock box is your responsibility as the hirer.

We understand accidents happen, but to keep it simple and fair, here are the replacement costs:

Large Master Lock Box: $140.00

Small Master Lock Box: $110.00

At our Surfers Paradise location, you’re covered with a master key override.  If a guest changes the code or it’s forgotten, we can quickly regain access and reset it for you.

At Palm Beach and Coolangatta, where we use Master Lock key safes, lost or altered codes usually mean the box must be replaced — so it’s important to set clear expectations with your guests.
